Or at least, that’s how Rey and Ben’s story concluded in canon – and now one very determined fan has imagined what the pair’s… rather intimate (but thankfully SFW) love life would have entailed had it lasted beyond an uncomfortable kiss before the latter hero's death. Related: Sims 4: Best Mods for 2020 (& How to Install Them) Sure enough, Kylo’s budding love for Rey ultimately drove him to renounce the Dark Side and stand with her against the newly-resurrected Emperor Palpatine, although the union would prove short-lived when Ben gave his own life to save Rey’s at the conclusion of Star Wars: The Rise Of Skywalker. Henceforth, a passionate portion of the fanbase found themselves wishing that Rey and Ren would end the nine-part Skywalker Saga as an item.
This can be chalked up to the amazing chemistry between stars Daisy Ridley and Adam Driver, as well as the two characters sharing many ship-teasing moments throughout their narrative journey. While Disney’s Star Wars Sequels proved to be divisive among both fans and even a few of the actors who starred in the trilogy, one of the most commonly praised elements of the three-film arc is the dynamic between the heroic scavenger Rey and villainous Kylo Ren (aka Ben Solo, the fallen son of Original Trilogy protagonists Han Solo and Princess Leia Organa). This was made possible by the EA-published life simulator’s recently released Star Wars: Journey to Batuu Game Pack, which brings famous characters, vehicles, and locations from the iconic Galaxy Far, Far Away into the game for players to micromanage as they would their regular Sim worlds.
Some Star Wars fans wished that Sequel Trilogy protagonists Rey Skywalker and Kylo Ren got to… continue the fabled Skywalker lineage at the end of their three-film arc, and now one modder has taken that to its logical (and more than a little creepy) conclusion in The Sims 4.
